Description:
We’re looking for an amazing/exceptional Salesforce Developer for a 6 month maternity cover to join our Enterprise Systems team, based in Cambridge. Reporting to the Enterprise Systems Lead, you will lead the administration and enhancement of our Salesforce and ServiceMax platforms to support commercial, field service, and business processes. Your expertise will also extend to mentoring junior team members, troubleshooting ServiceMax issues, and providing work-around solutions. Your adaptability, leadership, and technical proficiency will be essential in our dynamic and evolving environment.

- A substantial track record in Salesforce and ServiceMax development and administration.
- Expertise in managing Salesforce orgs and data.
- Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
- Strong prioritization skills and an understanding of balancing long-term value against immediate needs.
- Leadership skills and the ability to mentor junior developers.
It would also be helpful if you have the following qualifications and experience:
- Extensive experience in Salesforce and ServiceMax configuration, data management, and org administration.
- Proficiency in Salesforce report writing, dashboard creation, Salesforce Flow, and data upsert using DataLoader (or similar).
- Comprehensive knowledge of APEX, SOQL, Lightning Component / Lightning Web Components, and Visualforce.
- Experience with multi-platform integration using middleware (such as Boomi).
- Familiarity with HTML / ASPX and Agile methodologies.
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I & II
- Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator
- Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant
- Additional Salesforce certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a key member of our team, your responsibilities will encompass:
- Leading the administration, configuration, and customization of our Salesforce org and ServiceMax systems, based on business requirements and processes.
- Overseeing the management and governance of data within the Salesforce platform, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance.
- Proactively engaging with users, driving initiatives to enhance user experience based on their feedback.
- Developing long-term, scalable solutions while balancing immediate, pressure-relieving quick wins.
- Guiding the implementation of custom and out-of-the-box solutions using Salesforce, ServiceMax, and Field Service functionality.
- Preparing and overseeing comprehensive documentation for system maintenance and reference.
- Leading post-deployment activities, including knowledge transfer, process documentation, and bug fixes.
- Mentoring junior team members and providing advanced production support for field service engineers.
