KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Salesforce Commerce Developer certification is required
  • Proficiency in Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Apex programming language.
  • Experience with Salesforce Lightning Platform, including Lightning Components and Lightning Web Components.
  • Strong understanding of web technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools, such as JIRA and Git.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and customize Commerce solutions on the Salesforce platform, including implementing storefronts, customizing user interfaces, and integrating with backend systems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define technical solutions, and support estimates for development efforts.
  • Design and implement solutions that meet business requirements and adhere to best practices for Commerce development on Salesforce.
  • Develop and maintain integrations with third-party systems, such as ERP, CRM, and payment gateways, to enable seamless data flow and transaction processing.
  • Create and maintain documentation for developed solutions, including technical specifications, architecture diagrams, and code documentation.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to coding standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by users or identified through testing, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Stay current with Salesforce Commerce and related technologies, evaluating new features and functionalities to enhance existing solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, and project managers, to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and team members, assisting with problem-solving and skill development.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and best practices, sharing knowledge and insights with the team.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity in all interactions, representing the development team and the organization positively.
