POSITION DESCRIPTION:

This is an onsite position working in our Austin, TX office

Reporting to our Sr Director, IT you will: Analyzes complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. Identifies gaps and provides technical expertise in business requirements for system functional specifications and scales new and current systems, processes and procedures in a cost effective manner. Configures system settings and options; plans and executes unit, integration and acceptance testing to meet business requirements. Designs details of automated systems. May provide consultation to users in the area of automated systems. May lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • BA/BS or equivalent educational background is preferred.
  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant professional experience.

3 + years of extensive experience in Salesforce.com administration, development, and customization.

  • Experience in developing web applica8ons using Salesforce CRM, data migration, system integration and familiarity with Visual-force (Pages, Components) MVC architecture and Apex (Classes, Controllers & Triggers).
  • Expertise knowledge of Sales and Service cloud and CRM processes like Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Customer Support, Business processes with account, Contact, Opportunity, Lead, Campaign and Case Management.
  • Proficient in SFDC Administrative tasks such as crea8ng Custom Objects, custom Profile, users, page layouts, Security and Sharing Rules at Object, Field and Record levels, custom Roles, Roles Hierarchy and Permission Sets, Workflow Rules, Outbound messages, and Process Builder.
  • Experience in writing documentation for complex parts of projects.
  • Experienced in data migration using Import wizard, Apex data loader, SFDC Data export, On Demand tools.
  • Experience customizing and implementing Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
  • Experience in Force.com PlaVorm, APEX programming and Visualforce development.
  • Experience in rectifying production Defects/Bugs and showstoppers during the deployment process.
  • Good Understanding of Apex integration with external systems.
  • Experience in rewriting and maintaining code to latest frameworks.
  • Experience in deploying Salesforce components from sandbox to other sandboxes and to other Production instances using Change Sets and ANT Migration Tool.
  • Experience in making Release branches and maintaining code repositories in GIT
  • Worked on customization of Visual force to have Lightning experience for desktop and mobile applications.
  • Experience implementing the Lightning experience using the components, Events and SLDS.
  • Extensive knowledge in implementing and customizing the Community Cloud using Napili template.
  • Experience in gathering and document Business Requirements, experienced in writing Test Cases.
  • Experience in working with different Teams working at different locations of the client.
  • Experience in working with agile software development.
  • Experience in implementing Salesforce REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Good communication, interpersonal and quick learning skills with proven ability to adapt to different project environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Review, analyze and evaluate business systems and user needs. Document requirements, define scope and objectives and formulate systems to parallel overall business strategies
  • Lead projects to implement improvements to policy, process, procedures, work instructions and tools
  • Gather requirements from service owners for reporting, metrics and automation; produce reports based on defined metrics and key performance indicators
  • Lead daily operational activities, carrying out activities as assigned, and measuring process compliance
  • Assist with the promotion and communication of IT service management process to all parties involved
  • Leverage standards and solutions for customers to improve domain and enterprise-wide technical perspectives
  • Act as a subject matter expert for process integration and automation opportunities
  • Ensure process adoption and compliance through communication and training
  • Recommend improvements regarding processes, reporting, communication, training and tools
