Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in crafting email campaigns, conducting data analysis, and orchestrating customer journeys within the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Email Development:
  • Crafting visually appealing and responsive emails utilizing HTML, CSS, and AMPscript.
  • Embedding essential tracking tags to monitor email performance.
  • Conducting thorough quality assurance testing using Litmus.
  • Overseeing the deployment of emails for various campaigns.
  • Data Queries & Segmentation:
  • Generating complex queries to segment audiences for targeted marketing initiatives, A/B testing, and comprehensive reporting.
  • Automating query activities to streamline data processing workflows.
  • Journey Builder:
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and implement email marketing journeys that resonate with our target audience.
  • Participation in Team Meetings:
  • Actively engaging in team meetings, including sprint planning sessions, to align marketing initiatives with broader organizational objectives.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud: Demonstrated expertise in Email Studio, Automation Studio, and Journey Builder, with a proven ability to leverage these tools to drive effective marketing campaigns.
  • Advanced SQL Query Writing: Hands-on experience in crafting intricate, multi-step SQL queries for audience segmentation and data analysis purposes, with a minimum of 2 years of practical application.
  • Email Coding Proficiency: Extensive experience (2+ years) in coding responsive and visually engaging emails using HTML, CSS, and AMPscript, ensuring compatibility across various email clients and devices.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Possession of robust critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, particularly in the realms of data segmentation, audience targeting, and email rendering optimization. This skill set is crucial for maximizing campaign performance and swiftly addressing technical challenges.
  • Time Management and Deadline Adherence: Proven capability to effectively manage individual workload, establish clear expectations with stakeholders, and consistently deliver results within specified timelines.
  • Passion for Continuous Learning: Inherent enthusiasm for professional growth within the email marketing or digital marketing domain, coupled with a proactive approach to staying abreast of industry trends and best practices.
