SAP BASIS CONSULTANT

Location: Schwäbisch Hall, Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany
Work Environment: Hybrid working, one day a week in the office
Salary: €65.000 – €95.000
If you’re an SAP Consultant with experience working with SAP Basis, looking for very hybrid and flexible work in the Schwäbisch Hall area, and want to work with S/4 HANA, this is the perfect role for you.

THE COMPANY

A global automotive company that employs over 3000 people around the world and has offices in over 30 countries are looking for an SAP Basis Consultant to join their Germany headquarters, near Schwäbisch Hall.
The company are looking for an SAP Basis Consultant to be heavily involved in the evolution of the international organisations SAP system, with a focus on leading and being heavily involved in the future S/4 HANA rollout.
The business offers hybrid and flexible working, with only one day a week needed in the company’s office, and the rest you are welcome to work from your home office.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE SAP BASIS CONSULTANT

You will be supported to work however is best for you in a hybrid working environment. The business does ask that you have:

• 2+ years’ experience as an SAP Basis Administrator.
• Hands on S/4 Hana experience would be advantageous.
• Structured way of working and analytical-conceptual thinking.
• Confident communication in German and English, both written and speaking.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SAP BASIS CONSULTANT

As SAP Basis Consultant you will be heavily involved in S/4 HANA migration and rollout, and work closely with both SAP and Infrastructure teams on developing the SAP landscape. Your day-to-day responsibilities will also include:

• Administration of their SAP system.
• Monitor, analysis optimization of the SAP system.
• Using your skills to sculpt the SAP landscape and migrate S/4 Hana.
• Be the go-to person for the area of Security and Authorization.
• Creating and updating test systems to ensure it is smoothly running.
