SAP DOCUMENTATION SPECIALIST – SOLUTION SPECIALIST

As an experienced SAP Documentation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our SAP systems as a consultant without the extensive demands of travel. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years of proven experience in technical writing and documentation in an SAP environment.
  • 2+ years of detailed understanding of SAP modules and their functionalities.
  • 2+ years of Knowledge of SAP – functional, technical or configuration.
  • Willingness to author and edit documentation.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Must Be a US Citizen
  • Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve. This may include overnight travel.
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Sciences, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
  • Must live in a commutable distance (approximately 100-mile radius) to one of the following Delivery locations: Atlanta, GA; Charlotte, NC; Dallas, TX; Gilbert, AZ; Houston, TX; Lake Mary, FL; Mechanicsburg, PA; Philadelphia, PA with the ability to commute to assigned location for the day, without the need for overnight accommodations
  • Expectation to co-locate in your designated Delivery location up to 30% of the time based on business needs. This may include a maximum of 10% overnight client/project travel.

Responsibilities:

WORK YOU’LL DO/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Good understanding of the Business Processes
  • Developing, testing, and managing SAP modules and functionalities based on the client’s business requirements and technical specifications.
  • Collaborating with the functional team and other stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business needs and are aligned with the overall project goals
  • Identify as-is processes and to-be processes.
  • Configure scenarios in relevant SAP modules.
  • Develops and shares reusable assets that can be readily applied to new client project
  • Track and review change control documentation
  • Assist with the editing of quality documents (SOP’s, guidelines, validation master plans, etc.) to ensure compliance with regulator requirements
  • Prepare and/or maintain documentation pertaining to programming, systems operation, and documentation
  • Translate business specifications into user documentation
  • Plan, write, and maintain systems and user support documentation efforts; including online help screens
  • Knowledgeable of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
  • Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
