Description:

We are working on one of New Zealand’s largest SAP S4 Hana and SAP Commerce Cloud implementations in the retail sector and are looking for the right people to build our core capability to support the delivery of this solution with our chosen partners and transition to a BAU model.
This opportunity is for an experienced SAP Functional Lead with Merchandise experience, to join our team on a permanent basis. This role will be focused on the Store Merchandising processes and initially supporting 3-year planned rollout to stores of SAP solution, design, delivery and continuous improvement of our Retail and Trade solutions.
EXPERIENCE AND CAPABILITIES REQUIRED:
- At least 5 years of experience in SAP merchandise planning and allocation, preferably in the retail industry, with a proven track record of successful SAP projects.
- Strong knowledge of SAP MM, SD, PP, and AFS modules, and how they support the merchandise planning and allocation processes.
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, and SAP CAR is a plus, as they are the latest SAP technologies for the retail industry.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with different levels of stakeholders, lead and motivate the SAP team, and resolve any technical or functional issues.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with a high level of initiative, creativity, and flexibility.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, testing, and implementation of SAP solutions for merchandise planning, ensuring that they meet the business needs and objectives.
- Ensure the alignment of SAP solutions with the business requirements and best practices, following the SAP standards and methodologies.
- Provide technical and functional support, troubleshooting, and training to the end users and stakeholders, ensuring that they are able to use the SAP system effectively and efficiently.
- Manage the SAP Merchandise team and oversee the project delivery, budget, and timeline, ensuring that the project scope, quality, and expectations are met.
- Collaborate with other SAP teams, vendors, and consultants to ensure the integration and compatibility of SAP solutions, resolving any issues or conflicts that may arise.
