  • Having more than 10 years of working experience as presales and project manager in SAP field.
  • Excellent manager-level Interpersonal skills.
  • Having good problem solving, analytical and logical thinking.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, able to work under pressure in tight schedule.

Responsibilities:

  • Product Knowledge: is expected to have a deep understanding of SAP’s products and solutions. This includes various modules such as SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA (RISE, GROW), SAP SCM, SAP BI, and more, depending on the company’s product portfolio.
  • Solution Presentations: SAP Presales Consultants conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase how SAP solutions can meet the specific requirements of the potential clients. They tailor these presentations to highlight the key features and advantages most relevant to the client’s industry and business challenges.
  • Requirements Gathering: Presales consultants work closely with the sales team and potential clients to gather and analyze business requirements. This information helps in customizing the SAP solution proposal to match the client’s unique needs.
  • Technical Expertise: A solid technical understanding of SAP’s products is essential to address client queries and concerns effectively. Presales consultants must be able to articulate the technical aspects of SAP solutions in a way that non-technical stakeholders can comprehend.
  • Proposal Preparation: SAP Presales Consultants contribute to proposal writing and tender responses. They create comprehensive documents detailing the proposed solution, implementation plan, pricing, and other relevant information required for the client’s decision-making process.
  • Proof of Concepts (PoCs): In some cases, clients may request a proof of concept to test the feasibility of SAP solutions in their environment. Presales consultants may be involved in designing and conducting PoCs to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed solution.
  • Collaboration: The role requires close collaboration with the sales team, product managers, project managers, and other stakeholders. Presales consultants provide valuable insights to the sales team regarding client needs and market trends, which aids in devising winning strategies.
  • Continuous Learning: SAP is continually evolving, with updates and new releases being introduced regularly. This role need to stay up to date with the latest advancements in SAP products and solutions to effectively address client inquiries and present the most relevant solutions.
  • Project Management capabilities: This role also requires project delivery capabilities and experience, either in Finance or Supply Chain Management areas. Experience as a project manager of SAP implementation is critical for this role.
  • Certification in any SAP expertise area is a plus.
