BAER IS LOOKING FOR SAP S4 MANUFACTURING BOM LEAD CHIPS AND BOARDS ARCHITECT FOR A 18+ MONTH PROJECT LOCATED IN SANTA CLARA, CA.

Title: SAP S4 Manufacturing BOM Lead Chips and Boards Architect
Location: Remote and travel to Santa Clara
Duration: 18 months
Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed
Alignment: W2 or C2C

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and architecture of BOM processes within SAP S/4HANA.
• Ensure BOMs are structured to support efficient manufacturing of chips and boards.
• Comply with industry standards and best practices in BOM architecture.
• Oversee the implementation of BOM-related functionalities in SAP S/4HANA.
• Configure and customize the system to meet specific business requirements and manufacturing needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of BOM processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve BOM management processes.
• Implement strategies to optimize BOM accuracy, reduce production errors, and enhance overall manufacturing efficiency.
• Monitor and analyze BOM performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure accurate and consistent BOM data across all systems.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and manage data integrity within SAP S/4HANA.
• Implement data governance practices to uphold data quality standards.
• Ensure BOM processes comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
• Support compliance audits and maintain necessary documentation.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and adjust BOM processes accordingly.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the manufacturing team.
• Stay updated on the latest SAP S/4HANA developments and integrate new features as appropriate.
• Mentor and train team members on best practices in BOM management and SAP S/4HANA functionalities.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• Extensive experience with SAP S/4HANA, specifically in manufacturing and BOM management.
• Strong knowledge of chips and boards manufacturing processes.
• Proven track record of leading BOM architecture and implementation projects.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to optimize complex processes.
• Strong data management and governance skills.
• Understanding of industry standards and regulatory requirements related to manufacturing.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• SAP S/4HANA certification.
• Experience in the semiconductor or electronics manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of advanced manufacturing technologies and trends.
