ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Test Program Management for a major SAP implementation involving a systems integrator.
• Expert knowledge of SAP S/4 Hanna and EWM, Transport Management Systems Modules.
• In-depth experience in all areas of the SDLC/STLC.
• Ability to perform a Test Process Optimization (TPO) review when required and present your findings and recommendations to clients.
• Skills across numerous test levels, supporting Agile, V-Model, Waterfall, and Hybrid testing methodologies.
• Mentor fellow team members in areas of project expertise.
• Work within a team responsible for the analysis and planning of the testing within large-scale projects.
• Provide estimates for testing activities (time, people, environments, etc.).
• Create comprehensive test cases relevant to test conditions.
• Execute test cases and report results, raise and close defects when necessary.
• Strong SQL skills to validate data from multiple sources like files, XMLs, databases.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication.

DESIRABLE SKILLS:

• Certified ISTQB Advanced Test Management.
• Certified in Certified Agile Essentials or Certified Agile Testing courses.
• Experience in web services, XML, mobile apps, cloud testing, or Agile methods.
• Experience across the Financial Services, Health, Retail, Utilities, Banking, FMCG, or Telecommunications Industries.
• Experience with test automation, SQL, or coding.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As an SAP Program Test Manager, you will consult, lead, or manage our top-tier client base, covering all areas of the testing lifecycle in multiple domains. Knowledge and expertise in all software delivery methodologies and test processes will be paramount as you use your technical software engineering capability to deliver testing within large-scale complex programs/projects on schedule and to the highest quality.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Implement an Organizational Test Strategy, Framework, and tools for BAU and Transformation.
• Bring the business on the journey, managing key stakeholders from C-level down, including leading upskilling within the organization.
• Lead, plan, and deliver Test Strategies/Test Plans for complex projects or programs of work, especially in SAP.
• Provide estimates for resource utilization through a project.
• Collect and assess metrics against projects and regularly report test progress across your engagements to both clients and Planit senior leadership.
• Manage and lead teams both on and/or offshore.
• Identify potential test issues and develop corrective action plans.
• Participate in active business development if/when required.
• Coach, appraise, and mentor staff.
