REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Experience of 5 + years in IT, technical and functional analysis.
  • Experience with SAS IFRS17 Solution.
  • Experience and understanding of at least one of,
  • Insurance P&C (underwriting, reinsurance, claims, group benefits, travel)
  • Insurance Accounting principles / IFRS17.
  • Understanding of audit requirements, data security requirements and financial data governance including regulatory requirements.
  • Financial Reporting regulatory and corporate.
  • Experience and knowledge of Integration and data mapping.
  • Experience and knowledge using data manipulation tools such as SQL, Excel, VBA Macros, Power BI etc.
  • Strong Gap Analysis skills and identification of Functional Dependencies.
  • Team-oriented and demonstrates collaborative skills.
  • Well developed skills in documentation for development and production support teams.
  • Solid understanding of System Development Life Cycle.
  • Good knowledge of development methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid, SDLC, SCRUM, Kanban).
  • For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
  • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
