JOB DESCRIPTION

Product Managers at U.S. Bank are customer obsessed in driving product planning, visioning, development, management, and customer experience to deliver on our digital product strategy and staying one step ahead of evolving economic, technological, and customer needs. Pulls from market and competitive insights, customer needs, and internal business priorities to create the product vision (target customer segments, markets, channels, go to market approach, and value propositions). Aligns this strategic vision with cross-functional stakeholders to shape product roadmap, investment areas and success measures.

PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Typically three to five years of relevant experience
  • Proficient product management or similar experience
  • Effective presentation, verbal and written communication skills
  • Expert using SQL/SAS for querying data and for data transformation highly preferred
  • Proficient at using Power BI or similar platform for creating solutions
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to extract, collect and organize the data being provided
  • Knowledge of financial and banking products, policies, operations and applicable procedures
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously with limited supervision
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work as a team leader
  • Ability to conduct an analysis of a business need, including scheduling meetings, planning agendas and conferring with business line leaders
  • Advanced understanding of project management and testing methodology and procedures
    The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there’s an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.
