JOB DESCRIPTION

Manages a credit administration/loan review group responsible for a segment of the company’s credit approval, administration and review activities that support established credit objectives. Ensures credits adhere to existing policies and regulatory credit specifications; documentation is adequate to ensure security of collateral; and ongoing administration and review is adequate to maintain the loan portfolio’s quality and profitability.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Typically, eight to 10 years of related experience

PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Advanced knowledge of credit policies, credit analysis, procedures and philosophy
  • Strong analytical skills in relation to evaluating asset utilization and goals
  • Demonstrated analytical and risk analysis skills
  • Thorough knowledge of organization, business practices, business philosophy, and ethics
  • Demonstrated management and leadership skills
  • Well-developed customer service/relations skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Prior SBA or commercial underwriting experience
  • Prior SBA process and loan programs
  • Prior lending authority (at least 500k)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • Proficiency in Moody’s Credit Lens
  • Proficiency in nCino
  • CPA certification preferred
  • Master’s degree in finance preferred
    The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there’s an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.
