SBU Privacy Business Partner
Position Description
We have a challenging and rewarding career opportunity for a Strategic Business Unit Privacy Business Partner to support the Finland Poland Baltics Strategic Business Unit and assume the role and responsibilities of Data Protection Officer for CGI Suomi Oy.
The Strategic Business Unit Privacy Business Partner is a CGI Corporate Privacy leadership position that reports to the Chief Privacy Officer and operates with the authority delegated from the SBU President, to manage the implementation and execution of CGI Global Privacy strategy and program within the SBU. The Strategic Business Unit Privacy Business Partner is the primary point of contact in the SBU for all privacy and data protection related matters. The Strategic Business Unit Privacy Business Partner assists CGI operate within the law by advising and helping to monitor compliance.
The location of this role is Finland.

QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree with legal and technical expertise in Data Privacy.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of related experience in privacy, data protection, security, risk management, auditing, and/or compliance.
  • GDPR Practitioner or relevant Privacy Professional certifications (e.g., CIPP, CIPT, CIPM, DPO, etc.).

EXPERIENCE

  • Highly knowledgeable about Privacy and Data Protection Laws and Regulations, in particular EU GDPR, Finnish Data Protection Laws and Regulations and any Data-related legislation,
  • Experience in leading teams in global organization and interacting with other corporate functions and leaders,
  • Experience in communicating privacy-related concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff,
  • Experience of working within a legal environment with basic contract knowledge is recommended,
  • Have a deep understanding of the data protection regulatory landscape and industry best practices,
  • Experience within IT and/or Security industry is an asset.
