Description:

INTRODUCTION

Our client is rapidly winning more work and as such as looking for a Data Lead with experience of leading teams and managing client relationships to join their team!
They are a Consultancy working with Defence and Government clients so experience in that area is essential, as well as excellent technical knowledge of designing and building of scalable data solution that will enable their clients to extract value from their data assets.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Experience of leading client engagements within Defence or Government clients.
  • A proven track record in designing and delivering technology solutions built on the Azure cloud.
  • Ability to lead architectural engagements and take ownership for the successful delivery.
  • A solid understanding of key processes in the engineering delivery cycle including Agile and DevOps.
  • Able to contribute to RFI/RFP requests and design and deliver innovative Proof of Concepts for customers.
  • Key techniques such as Governance, Architecture, Data Modelling, ETL / ELT, Data Lakes, Data Warehousing, Master Data, and BI.
  • Experience working with Azure First Party Services including Azure SQL, Data Factory, Data Lake, Synapse, Purview and Power BI.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver data focused client engagements, leading and managing teams and client relationships.
  • Work with technical consultants and client stakeholders to understand and define components of the data landscape and how it relates to the data strategy.
  • Understand and translate end-user requirements into designs and delivery plans for effective data solutions.
  • Build, maintain, and support data workstreams and the necessary infrastructure as part of a data and analytics delivery team.
  • Actively mentor and develop others in the team and inspire them through commitment and enthusiasm.
    Foster and demonstrate an inclusive team culture focusing on service excellence and exceptional performance
