As part of the newly formed Global Business Unit Scaffolding, Doka & AT-PAC will be further synergizing its strengths and market position to offer scaffolding solutions.
Doka & AT-PAC will continue to invest into the technical innovation of a single co-branded “Ringlock” product and will provide industry leading scaffolding solutions throughout 65+ countries globally. Together, Doka & AT-PAC stand for formwork, shoring AND scaffolding.
The Scaffolding Engineer is reporting directly to the Global Head of Engineering and the focus of the role is to design, implement and maintain new components and systems for the market into Doka’s libraries and to provide scaffolding design support to Areas and Countries ensuring fulfillment of design regulation, high safety standards and material optimization.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Structural or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience in that field.
  • Minimum 5-year experience in scaffolding design (preferred Ringlock system); experience in formwork design is an advantage.
  • Expert know-how in AutoCAD 2D & 3D and preferrable knowledge in BIM/Revit environments; knowledge of PonCAD in AutoCAD is considered an advantage.
  • Ability to read and interpret structural/civil/architectural drawings and models.
  • Strong Safety mindset that support a proper installation/dismantling procedure during the project design/execution phase.
  • Knowledge of statical analysis and tools (RSTAB, Resa, etc. ..) is an advantage.
  • Team-oriented character with the ability to work in a multi-national organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal English skill is a must, other languages are an advantage .

Responsibilities:

  • Design scaffolding solutions for the implementation within formwork systems into the organization.
  • Design scaffold structure according to the latest Country/Region codes of practice.
  • Be the internal referent point for scaffolding item implementations into the organization.
  • Support in scaffolding systems/articles implementation into Doka’s software systems.
  • Ensure proper article items implementation coordinating within the different department and stakeholders.
  • Utilize the latest software tools in order to be able to work properly in 2D and 3D design environment.
  • Ensure optimized design considering material availability in the Country/Region.
  • Support sales teams to explain the technical solution internally and externally
