Job Title: Scala Developer
Job Location: Montreal, Canada
Capgemini is seeking a candidate with solid experience in Scala, Spark, Hive, and Hadoop to join our team of IT professionals.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Unix and Shell Scripting.
- Exposure to Git and Jenkins CI/CD pipeline.
- Previous experience as a data engineer or in a similar role
- Technical expertise with Spark with scala, Hive, Hadoop
- Knowledge of programming languages like Scala and basic Java
- Unix Shell scripting, Jenkins Pipeline
- Hands-on experience with basic SQL and hive query language.
- Any cloud would be nice to have
Responsibilities:
- Design, analyze and organize raw data.
- Build data systems and pipelines.
- Conduct complex data analysis and report on results.
- Combine raw information from different sources.
- Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability.
- Find opportunities for data acquisition.
- Develop analytical tools and programs.
- Collaborate with data scientists and architects on several projects.
