Description:

Allied Caregivers provides first-class personal, in-home, care to our clients, and the company is seeking a organized and detail-oriented administrator to join our tight-knit team. This job is 100% remote. As an administrator for Allied Caregivers, you will provide critical support to our management team by handling various administrative tasks and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. The successful candidate will be provided training on start.

Essential Responsibilities and Job Tasks

  • Schedule caregivers for client shifts; ensure shifts are covered or proper notices sent.
  • Contact client-referral sources when caregivers need additional hours.
  • Proactive outreach to clients and caregivers on scheduling and care concerns.
  • Answer phone calls, monitor the general inbox, and respond appropriately to Caregivers and Clients.
  • Review client assessments and match with appropriate caregiver.
  • When necessary, assist peers in other operational areas as a backup support.
  • Setup, monitor, and follow up on 6 month caregiver assessments and supervised shifts; record and review quality feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Review daily client shift notes from caregivers to ensure adequacy; review, respond, and escalate any exceptions in the shift notes to the appropriate stakeholder.

Other Responsibilities and Job Tasks

  • Conduct caregiver orientations, if local to your area; includes review of new hire documents.
  • Conduct client intakes within three days from referral.
  • Print and compile New Client Intake packets; ensure packets are received by caregivers performing intakes.
  • Review client intakes for completeness and signatures; collect and verify power of attorney paperwork and activation letter, do-not resuscitate documents, and other necessary documentation.
  • Setup, monitor, and follow up on yearly continuing education credit requirements for caregivers; contact and help schedule education credit opportunities with caregivers.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • No degree required; previous experience in administrative support, scheduling, or caregiving industry helpful.
  • Prior knowledge with homecare software Wellsky preferred, but not required. (Wellsky is formerly known as CLEAR CARE)
  • Must be proficient in basic computer use and able to learn new software; prior experience with Microsoft Office products is essential.
  • Effective skills in communication and peer networking. Allied Caregivers’ admin is a small team.
  • Be able to effectively work well independently and with integrity.
  • Have demonstrable organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and desire to drive outcomes.
  • Some travel maybe required (5%-15%) for job tasks and company events.

This position is compensated at $20/hour. If Scheduler work is performed during a caregiving shift, the successful candidate can be compensated up to $27/hour. Position is fully remote, however reasonable access to Bedford, NH is preferred
