The City of Sydney Library Network of nine branches is a key front line service in the community for local residents, students, visitors, tourists and workers.
We have a new position at the City of Sydney Library, which will form part of a new team delivering scheduling and staff resourcing for our team. The primary purpose of this role is to deliver the scheduling, resourcing, and administrative processes that support the library network in daily operations.
As Scheduling Coordinator, your responsibilities include:
Delivery of the rostering schedule for staff on all working patterns.Creation of rosters in various digital platforms and excel as required to support operational requirements.Applying fairness and transparency to all rostering decisions by following agreed principles and processes.Filling vacant shifts across a seven day operation to ensure library services are delivered to the community.Build and maintain productive working relationships with key stakeholders and members.Maintain contemporary knowledge of the business rules and operational requirements.Have exceptional excel, data and digital skills.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Experience in scheduling large teams across a seven day environmentEffective skills with timekeeping platforms, excel, and other relevant technologiesKnowledge and/or experience around Awards and labour service providersWell-developed time management, organisational and planning skills to manage multiple tasks, changing deadlines and priorities.
