We are seeking to appoint an Admin Assistant to join our dynamic, busy and friendly Business Support Team for a full time position from Monday- Friday and 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

The main activities and responsibilities are:

  • To be the first point of contact for both telephone and face to face enquiries and take messages where appropriate
  • To be responsible for the sorting and distributing of incoming post and the sending of outgoing post, including the purchase of stamps
  • To comply with individual responsibilities, in accordance with the role, for health and safety in the workplace
  • To undertake training as required to be effective in carrying out all duties, including safeguarding training
  • To monitor and update the calendar via the school website and ensuring all staff information is accurate alongside any news/letters for families
  • Use of the SIMS database, experience is preferred

We are looking for an individual who has the below skills:

  • Experience of administrative work in a busy office environment
  • Ability to exercise confidentiality and discretion on sensitive matter
  • Fluency in all Microsoft Office and Google applications.
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one)
  • Right to work in UK (Essential)
  • 2 recent proven experience
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, planning and organisational skills
