Following the retirement of our current School Business Manager, the Headteacher and Governors of St Mary’s Catholic Primary School are looking to recruit a highly motivated, forward thinking, experienced School Business Manager to join our team.
The role
The successful individual will play a key role in overseeing the non-teaching aspects of school development, supporting the school in providing an exceptional learning environment and experience for our children and community. The role encompasses responsibility for the strategic development and operation for the business functions of our school. This includes financial resource management, ICT and information management, facility and property management, health and safety, strategic operations for human resources as well as statutory compliance.

We are looking for someone who:

  • brings experience in a similar role, ideally in an education setting
  • has skills in managing finance and budgets, personnel and payroll procedures, and resource allocation
  • has a good understanding of school health, safety, first-aid and safeguarding protocols
  • is exceptionally organised, manages time well and pays attention to detail
  • is experienced in complex project planning and delivery
  • is kind, friendly and professional
