Description:
- Part time (3 or 4 days a week), temporary role for the remainder of the school year.
- Work during term time only.
We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced School Counsellor to join our Pastoral care team for the remainder of the school year. In this role, you will work closely with students to ensure their emotional, social and wellbeing needs are being met. You will provide support to teaching staff as well as families on how to best support these students.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support and professional advice to students in the areas of wellbeing and mental health
- Support teachers and families by providing them an understanding of student mental health concerns and strategies to assist these students’ in their overall development
- Assess and refer students to specialist agencies for clinical, therapeutic, medical diagnosis and treatment.
