This pivotal position as the School Librarian entails overseeing the school’s library and fostering a love for reading and research among both faculty and students.
We’re seeking a dynamic individual who is invested in fostering a love for literature. As the School Librarian, you’ll take the lead in offering professional guidance on career paths and coordinating workplace learning initiatives. Your dedication will help create an environment where students can thrive academically and independently.
Among your many roles as the School Librarian, you’ll be responsible for curating a stimulating atmosphere within the library, ensuring that resources are readily accessible to students, researchers, and staff members alike. You’ll play a vital role in facilitating learning opportunities throughout the school community.

School Librarian Requirements:

• Knowledge and experience of running a library and library systems.
• Librarian/Librarian Assistant exp beneficial.
• Knowledge and awareness of the world of books.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability and willingness to take care over details and work to deadlines.
• Excellent teamwork skills

Salary: £25,000-£30,000
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
