Mercy University invites nominations and applications for nine-month faculty positions in the nursing school. This is an opportunity to join an engaged team of professional and dedicated colleagues in a CCNE-accredited program that offers undergraduate and graduate degrees. We welcome dynamic educators to our team who want to make a difference in students’ lives and in their profession. For the undergraduate the positions include teaching a variety of nursing courses, with particular needs in medical-surgical, pathophysiology, and pharmacology. Undergraduate programs are on the Dobbs Ferry and Bronx campuses. Responsibilities include teaching with an emphasis on high impact teaching practices and active learning.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• At least 3 years’ experience in an academic setting preferred.

Education Requirements:

• Education MS in Nursing (required). DNP, PhD, or EdD preferred.

PHYSICAL/OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to push, pull, move or lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to meet all general health requirements for the position as per university policies.
