Description:
The School Operations Team are responsible for ensuring the Head of School and all members of staff are compliant, including across information governance, health and safety and estate legislation. This includes responsibility for ensuring the AMBS Building is maintained to a high standard, as would be expected from a global business school. This involves working closely with all internal and external stakeholders on building improvement projects. The team works closely with the Faculty of Humanities Compliance teams and the wider University to meet internal targets and external expectations.
The Team also provides high-quality customer service for Conference & Event potential clients, delegates, and visitors to School, working closely with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of reception and wider building for all users.
Operating as part of the interdepartmental School Operations Team, the post-holder will undertake projects and champion activities on behalf of the School and provide support to other Departments as required.
Engaging in a cross-School community of practice with School Operations colleagues, working towards continuous business improvement and standardisation.
