Catherine McAuley Westmead is seeking a skilled, enthusiastic and dynamic School Receptionist to support the business and clerical requirements of the school on a permanent full time basis, commencing as soon as possible.
As a School Receptionist, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and organised environment for students, parents, and staff. You will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, and your professionalism and customer service skills will be essential in creating a positive impression of our school. This position offers an exciting opportunity to become an integral part of our school community.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist visitors, parents, and students with a friendly and professional demeanour
  • Answer and direct incoming calls and enquiries to the appropriate department or staff member
  • Responding to enquiries from students, parents, employees, and the general public;
  • A wide range of professional support, administration, secretarial and clerical duties, including typing, word processing, data entry, maintaining email and computerised records
  • Google applications, electronic rolls, attendance records, student enrolments, student information
  • Assisting with basic follow up of WHS issues and implementation of WHS management system, including checking licenses of onsite contractors;
  • Word processing of routine correspondence, including internal and external publications, teacher programs and teaching aids;
  • Providing assistance in various financial management tasks, including receipting payments and completing End of Day Procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organised reception area
