Responsibilities:

The UKE Microscopy Imaging Facility (umif) of the Dean’s Office provides researchers at the UKE with access to advanced imaging systems and technical expertise. For the facility we are looking for a scientist to support the facility with the following tasks:

  • Close technical collaboration with the UKE research community
  • Development of the latest imaging protocols and experiment designs
  • Training users on different microscopy platforms
  • Organisation of light microscopy seminars and workshops
  • Ensuring the maintenance and further development of the core facility equipment
