What You Will Do
As head of the Scientific Marketing Team, you will assume the responsibility for the execution of a strategic plan for the clinical marketing components of strategic growth product lines through partnering with key stakeholders.
Below is the role and responsibilities and requirements of a Scientific Marketing Manager role.

Key Responsibilities

  • The Scientific Marketing role assumes the responsibility for the development and execution of a strategic plan, for the clinical marketing components of strategic growth product lines that is part of their portfolio through partnering with key stakeholders.
  • Drive awareness and continued enthusiasm for products and company via incorporating tailored messaging into HCP education and engagement programs.
  • Develop and implement HCP engagement strategy by analysing HCP education needs, performing market segmentation, and partnering with the sales team to develop and execute peer-to-peer education events.
  • Create and refine educational/training programs for HCPs (pharmacists and doctors) and HCP sales team including live education events, online education, case studies discussions etc
  • Support new product launches and local brands from a scientific perspective by developing effect content for sales eDetail aids and other relevant marketing material. A key role of this job is to develop influential market messaging from the clinical data and drive distillation messages to key stakeholders, such as Brand Teams and Sales Teams.
  • Implement HCP marketing strategy for regional brands, localising sales eDetail aid and other marketing materials.
  • Develop and conducting product training for both internal sales team and for external HCPs education opportunities e.g. pharmacist conference.
  • Working closely with Medical Affairs to identifying regional opinion leaders, developing presentation materials, and supporting the sales team to execute speaker events. Create a KOL network in the region and be single point of contact for consultancy work / contracts with the KOLs.
  • Attend and support company activities at relevant scientific and technical meetings and conferences.
  • Consult with the medical affairs team to determine and manage the post-market studies strategy. Support oral and written presentations of clinical results for approved products only that are on label

Qualifications
What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • PHD in Chemistry, or Biology or Life Sciences.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare industry.
  • Excellent presentation, verbal, written communication skills.
  • Communication, relationship-building, and project management skills are critical to success.
  • Ability to analyze and communicate clinical study designs and results, including basic knowledge of biostatistics. Proficiency in clinical literature search desired.
  • Proven ability to successfully manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment with a sense of urgency.
  • Willingness to “roll up sleeves” to perform at all levels and assist in areas outside of core responsibilities.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written, oral, and presentation communications skills.
