SCIENTIST FOR A 1-YEAR TEMPORARY POSITION

As one of our colleagues are going on maternity leave for one year, we are looking for an engaged, analytical and structured Scientist in a temporary position.
In this role, you will be working in vaccine development projects, mainly with development of immunological assays. It is expected that you will interact closely and have a good communication with Scientists with different background from all our scientific departments, as well as colleagues from Regulatory Affairs and Production departments.

QUALIFICATIONS AND PROFILE

• Master’s degree in relevant life science discipline.
• Practical experience and knowledge about immunological methods and assay development.
• Knowledge about or experience in other biochemical methods is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently, accurately, purposefully and be a committed team player. Desire and willingness to work practically in the lab and plan your own working day.
• Good Norwegian and English skills, both written and oral.

• Development of immunological analytical methods such as ELISA and Western blotting for analysis of vaccine products and samples from clinical trials.
• Plan and perform practical laboratory work, with a focus on immunological analytical methods.
• Contribute to quality documentation for vaccine dossiers and internal research reports.
• Continuously develop and communicate professional competence within the areas of responsibility.
