Description:
WORK SCHEDULE: 9X80
L3Harris is seeking a simulation and analysis engineer with experience in Electronic Warfare (EW), including Electronic Support (ES) and Electronic Attack (EA). The analyst will lead and mentor other EW analysts and support multiple EW design teams located in Salt Lake City, UT. This role includes component to sub-system modeling and simulation, sub-system performance analysis, working with developers to ensure performance requirements are met, generating design artifacts, and leading small teams of analysts.
Areas of expected technical experience include:
- Electronic Attack technique modeling and detailed simulation
- Electronic Support signal detection and identification
- Advanced signal processing techniques
- Non-linear signal processing for spectrum operations
- Arbitrary waveform generation
- Multipath and channel modeling
- Digital signal processing
- Strong RF understanding
- Receiver sensitivity analysis
- EW test environment simulation
- Strong Communications background including modeling and simulation of the physical layer
- Experience in EW modeling and simulation
- Proficiency in MATLAB
- Experience leading teams of analysists
- Experience working with FPGA design
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.
