Description:

The Product Development Services & Quality Control Laboratory Logistics Co-Ordinator will support and lead the flow of all laboratory shipping activities at the Cork site to ensure that laboratory shipments are met in a safe, compliant, efficient and effective manner.

  • Ensure the creation and maintenance of orders are carried out in a timely and compliant manner.
  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data at all times.
  • Prepare paperwork for laboratory shipments ex Cork site
  • Arrange for the collection of laboratory shipments
  • Liaise with Quality and assist in resolution of Customer complaints.
  • Ensure up-to-date IATA, IMDG and DGSA certification.
  • Actively support and participate in all continuous improvements and Lean Sigma/OE activities.
  • Align with company, site and local policies and guidelines in the areas of distribution and customer service etc.
  • Provide Dangerous Goods and Shipment requirements training if required to various departments across the site.
  • Ensure all shipments are checked off prior to dispatch to ensure correct materials are dispatched and are of correct standard.
  • Ensure compliance with SEC (Sanctions & Export Controls).
  • Assist and carryout as necessary the duties of the Customer Service and Logistics coordinator which apart from the above duties may include –
  • Actively liaise with the supply chain planner(s) to ensure product is available to meet demands.
  • Ensure materials are available to meet the shipping schedule.
  • Order confirmation and allocation of customer orders.
  • Arrange for the collection of all shipments.
  • Ensure data for the OTD/OTIF important metric is accurate and maintained.
  • Issue weekly and monthly shipping schedules.
  • Interface daily with the Quality and Warehouse team members.
