YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

  • B.Sc. in Biology, Biochemistry, or related science
  • Hands-on experience with immunoassays (ELISA, bead-based multiplex assays, PLA or similar)
  • Good understanding of immunology, cell biology and protein analysis techniques
  • Problem-solving skills and logical approach to solving scientific problems
  • Curiosity about improving skills and knowledge in the development of innovative commercial research products
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Possesses analytical thinking skills that are applied to solving a sophisticated scientific problem
  • Works well in a team environment and collaborates with other members of the team to find a solution
  • Proficiency in German and English

Responsibilities:

  • Practical project development towards commercial research products
  • Development and validation of immunological detection methods, for the analysis of biological samples
  • Independent planning and execution of experiments including data analysis and interpretation of results
  • Laboratory maintenance, like instrument calibration and buffer preparation
  • Performance of testing and assays in accordance with approved methods and SOPs
  • Assistance in troubleshooting, investigations and other duties as required
