HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Scientist II, Data Scientist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading data analysis projects, developing advanced analytical models, and providing strategic insights to drive business performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, a deep understanding of statistical methods, and the ability to effectively communicate complex findings to collaborators.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a relevant field such as Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field.
  • Master’s degree one of these fields a plus.

EXPERIENCE

  • 0-2 years of experience in a data analysis role, preferably in a similar industry or relevant experience depending on education.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, or SAS, with a solid understanding of statistical techniques and methodologies.
  • Experience with Java programming a plus.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI, to create interactive dashboards and reports.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex findings to both technical and non-technical partners.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality analytical work and driving business impact through data-driven insights.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage data analysis projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define objectives and deliver actionable insights.
  • Design and implement advanced analytical models and algorithms to extract meaningful insights from complex and large-scale datasets.
  • Perform statistical analysis, data mining, and predictive modeling to identify patterns, trends, and correlations.
  • Develop and maintain data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to communicate key findings and recommendations to customers.
  • Conduct ad-hoc data analysis and provide analytical support to address specific business questions or challenges.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and standard processes in data analysis, machine learning, and data visualization.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior data analysts, sharing standard processes and promoting a culture of data-driven decision-making.
