Description:

Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Scientist II to join our Research & Development team in Bend. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and development activities to support the design and improvement of products in the specified field.
  • Collaborate with teams from different departments to establish project goals and targets.
  • Design and implement experiments to effectively introduce new technologies and address intricate scientific obstacles.
  • Analyze and interpret data, and effectively communicate findings to individuals both within and outside the organization.
  • Maintain accurate experimental records and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field, with 2 years experience with a focus on research; or a Master’s degree in a related field. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
  • Proven experience in conducting scientific research and development activities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment.
