The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), Department of Radiology Chair Office, is seeking a Scientist II.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Philosophy, D.V.M. or M.D. degree in a related field and four (4) years of related experience
• OR M.D. and Master’s degree and two (2) years of related experience
• OR Master’s degree and six (6) years of related experience
• OR Bachelor’s degree and eight (8) years of related experienc

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• To employ a broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures in a particular field of specialization.
• To plan, design, and conduct research and present findings.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Research in multi-modality imaging and animal models of cancer, and requires knowledge in the use of the instruments, animal models, as well as other areas (in vitro assays, radio-labeling) that are required for experimentation.
• Assistance with translational clinical studies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
  Annual Salary Range $74,100.00 - $120,700.00
