WORK SCOPE OVERVIEW

The candidate will work on engineering the novel affinity proteins to capture desired target biomarkers. The scope of work also includes improving the performance of the engineered proteins for high sensitivity and high specificity binding toward their target biomarkers in biological fluids.

REQUIREMENTS

• Ph.D. or M.Sc. in biology, molecular biology, bioengineering, chemical engineering, or relevance field.
• Candidates should have knowledge and experience in the following areas
• Yeast surface display techniques
• bacterial and mammalian protein expression and purification
• Protein analysis e.g. SDS-PAGE, SPR, BLI, and related trouble shooting skills
• Immunoassay optimization and development

• Engineering highly sensitive and highly specific affinity proteins for capturing desired protein biomarkers using yeasts-surface-displayed system.
• Performing essential molecular works for protein engineering process.
• Independently troubleshooting and planning experiments.
• Keep good and traceable records of all data.
• Analysing and presenting data to the reporting officer and the team.
