EDUCATION
Bachelor, Master, or PhD in Biochemistry, Immunology, physiology, or related field
EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of proven experience related to the job description; Master’s degree with 3 years; PhD with practical scientific experience
- Knowledge and expertise in performing membrane-bound or soluble protein purification using HPLC; preferable experience using AKTA system
- Experience handling and maintaining mammalian cell culture with a proven understanding of cell and molecular biology
- Technical experience with antibody-antigen detection test, including ELISA, affinity, and bead-based immunoassay.
- Good understanding of GLP and GMP guidelines for assay development

Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory experiments to develop, assess or transfer methods/procedures, specifically, protein purification and biochemical analysis.
- Help develop and build the foundation of new cell or protein based bioassays by providing technical and scientific support.
- Responsible for performing in-depth data analysis and interpretation.
- Communicate findings and discuss relevance of your data to a multi-discipline team consisting of upstream and downstream process development scientists, quality control, quality assurance, process engineers and our customers.
