Responsibilities:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Raw Materials Scientist, who will conduct analytical testing of raw materials and clinical supplies, as required. This role will need to navigate through compendial documents, document testing, troubleshoot instruments, and enter data into the LIMS system. They will be responsible for management of end-to-end testing including related safety aspects and communicating testing status to relevant team members and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct analytical testing of raw materials, clinical supplies, and/or reference standards.
  • Execute analytical testing for finished products per current methodology.
  • Test raw materials per current pharmacopeial methodologies and will navigate through the USP and Ph. Eur. compendial documents.
  • Document all analytical testing in notebook following all applicable SOPs and cGMPS.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting on chromatographic instruments and perform instrumental and wet chemistry testing including titrations, HPLC, GC, FT-IR, UV and other chemical analyses.
  • Enter data into LIMS system and calibrate instruments per current procedures as needed.
  • Order reagents and other consumables and proactively identify lab supplies that are needed to maintain and improve laboratory functioning.
  • Always practice company safety practices as well as compliance with all applicable internal, State, and local regulations.
  • Communicate testing status and perform assigned analytical activities to support on-going projects.
