The Sales Data Intelligence team is actively looking for an experienced Data Scientist. Are you enthusiastic about using data and technology to answer business and scientific questions? If so, bring your skills and talents to Lilly, where you can impact patients’ lives.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, mathematics, or quantitative related field OR Bachelor’s in computer science/computer engineering data science, Statistics, mathematics, or quantitative related field with at least 2 years of related working experience
- Experience with machine learning algorithms and statistical analysis. Knowledge of algorithms, principles, and tools used
- Proficiency with one or more relevant programming languages such as R, Python, or SQL
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in AWS or Azure
- Experience in Data Bricks
- Experience in risk-score modeling, time series modeling, trend analysis, sales forecasting, customer segmentation, impact assessment, attribution analytics, collaborative filtering, marketing mix modeling, and recommendation engines.
- Familiarity with data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy)
- Experience with database management, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
- Understanding of machine learning algorithms (supervised and unsupervised learning, neural networks, decision trees, logistic regression, etc.) and deep learning frameworks (such as TensorFlow and PyTorch).
- Experience with end-to-end model deployment.
- Experience with Agile Development, CI/CD, Jenkins, Github, and Automation platforms.
- Knowledgeable in data functions such as Data Governance, Master Data Management, and Business Intelligence.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze large, complex data domains and craft practical solutions for subsequent data exploitation via analytics.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with a geographically dispersed group of business and technical colleagues
- CDMP Certification
- AWS Solution Architect
- Previous healthcare experience
- Position based in Indianapolis, Indiana, with a hybrid work model
Responsibilities:
As a Data Scientist based in Indianapolis, IN, you will analyze complex data sets, develop predictive and anomaly detection models, and identify insights to drive business decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams in the sales space to understand business problems, develop hypotheses, and evaluate those hypotheses with data.
