Description:
Scribes shadow Emergency Room Physicians and complete all documentation tasks for the doctors as well as organize pending lab and radiology results. We provide a comprehensive training manual and a one-month “hands-on” training program where new scribes work alongside experienced scribes.
Initially, new scribes are only learning how to perform their job duties. The real benefit of the program, however, is what the scribes learn outside of their specific duties. In the ER, doctors treat patients with ailments and illnesses that span all specialties of medicine.
The individual scribes can learn as much as they want in regards to almost all areas of medicine. Additionally, the scribes develop personal relationships with 20 or more ER physicians, and are able to learn the practice styles of many different doctors.
