  • Ensure the effectiveness of the Scrum team and support them to focus on creating valuable increments
  • Serve the team by coaching, supporting and ensuring that Scrum events take place and timeboxes are kept
  • Maintain and update relevant Scrum artifacts, such as the Product Backlog, Sprint Backlog, and Burndown charts
  • Encourage the team to reflect on their processes and performance, facilitating continuous improvement through retrospectives
  • Serve the organization by training, teaching, helping and removing barriers

  • Successfully completed Masters´s or Bachelor´s degree in Information Technology, Project Management or similar, as well as accomplished certification as Scrum Master (f/m/d)
  • Multiple years of experience as Scrum Master (f/m/d) in Software Development and Software Architecture projects
  • Excellent knowledge of different agile methodologies, e.g. Kanban
  • Familiarity with backlog management tools (e.g. Jira)
  • Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, and conflict resolution
  • Excellent communication and mentoring skills as well as the ability to work in a diverse and multicultural environment
  • Fluent English and German skills
  • Willingness to travel to Essen 2x per month for 1-2 days
