Scrum Master
We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Scrum Master to join our clients’ team. As a Scrum Master, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the smooth operation of our hybrid teams and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilise good working knowledge of Jira to effectively manage team boards and track progress.
  • Collaborate with hybrid teams to streamline workloads and remove blockers, ensuring efficient project execution.
  • Embrace a hybrid skillset, going beyond traditional Agile Scrum Master responsibilities, to adapt to our unique team structure.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager and Product Owner to coordinate team meetings and ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Arrange and facilitate planning and retrospective meetings, as well as other ceremonies required for the hybrid team.
  • Assist the Product Owner in developing and maintaining the product backlog, ensuring its alignment with project goals.
  • Take responsibility for ensuring that the team lives by the agreed values and principles, as well as following established processes and practices.
  • Produce all documentation and deliverables in accordance with Western Power Standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • Proficiency in working with hybrid teams and managing their workloads effectively.
  • Excellent knowledge of Jira and its application in managing team boards.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills to effectively coordinate team meetings and ceremonies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the Project Manager and Product Owner to achieve project goals.
  • A self-motivated and proactive approach to problem-solving and removing obstacles.
  • Familiarity with Western Power Standards or willingness to learn and adhere to them.
