Responsibilities:

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with business and technology teams to plan and execute their mix of tactical and strategic work to deliver the vision of the business.
  • Leading teams in operating to an agreed team cadence and providing support to help teams reflect, learn and improve on their Agile practice.
  • Supporting teams to ensure smooth collaboration among ‘extended’ team members where required and enable clear visualisation of dependency blockers.
  • Providing mentoring support to Product Owners and team members to refine their understanding of Agile practices.
  • Radiating sprint team metrics that help the team see how they are doing.
  • Partnering with the Product Owner to ensure a strong vision, backlog development and cadence.
  • Facilitating Agile ceremonies (incl. sprint planning, sprint reviews and retrospectives), ensuring that activities are time-boxed and artefacts are visible to the team (through visualization techniques and/or tools).
  • Working with other Scrum Master, Coaches to ensure that our ways of working are consistent across teams while adhering to Westpac standards.
  • Creating a positive team environment that empowers the team through facilitation of discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution

To be successful in this role, you will have Agile coach experience, leading multiple scrum teams and Scrum certification. In addition to this, your skills may also include:

  • Expertise in helping teams and organisations transition to an Agile environment (both process and technical practices).
  • Understand other processes and methodologies other than Agile and can leverage other techniques to provide value to a team/enterprise.
  • Understand software development processes and procedures and familiarity with CI/CD.
  • Provide adequate and timely reporting to business stakeholder direct line managers, business owners, and program teams.
  • Skilled in the SAFE Scaled Agile Framework.
  • Good understanding or previous experience as a Product Owner.
  • Any exposure to ServiceNow and Business Resiliency processes would be advantageous
