Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As a Scrum Master, you will play a pivotal role in defining and embedding new ways of working within the organisation. You will be responsible for managing resources and sprint cycles, as well as setting standards for multiple development teams. Your ability to facilitate SCRUM processes with senior leaders will be crucial in this role. You will also support teams in focusing on clear outcome-based deliverables, assist business owners with decision-making, and work across teams to ensure effective collaboration. Your commitment to continuous improvement will be key in establishing feedback loops within the organisation.

  • Establishing and facilitating a SCRUM process with senior leaders, including supporting decision making and prioritisation
  • Supporting and coaching multiple cross-functional and multi-discipline development teams to implement new ways of working
  • Coordinating cross-team prioritisation ensuring accountabilities are clear
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of a consistent performance management framework across multiple teams
  • Supporting teams to agree and focus on clear outcome-based deliverables
  • Assisting Business Owners with decision-making, feature definition and prioritisation
  • Working across teams to ensure collaboration and dependencies are leveraged where appropriate and resourcing is allocated where required
  • Establishing, promoting and embedding feedback loops to ensure a culture of continuous improvement

The ideal Scrum Master will bring extensive experience from previous roles within agile delivery teams. Your experience managing program delivery will be highly valued in this role. You have a proven ability to effect collaboration between agile and non-agile teams, demonstrating your flexibility and adaptability. Your strong understanding of SCRUM processes and principles will be crucial in this role, as will your excellent communication skills. You are a problem-solver who can effectively manage risk and drive relentless improvement.

  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master or similar role within agile delivery teams
  • Experience managing program delivery
  • Ability to effect collaboration between agile and non-agile teams
  • Strong understanding of SCRUM processes and principles
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage risk effectively
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and the ability to promote this culture within the tea
