YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business or similar field
- 2+ Years Sea Logistics experience (Reefer business experience is a plus)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
Responsibilities:
YOUR ROLE
As a Sea Logistics Reefer Customer Care Expert, you will play a crucial role in understanding Kuehne+Nagel’s business, services, and products. Your responsibilities include comprehending customer needs, effectively communicating both positive and negative news, and following up on customer interactions. You’ll seek win-win solutions by balancing customer requirements with organizational integrity. Demonstrating appreciation for the customer’s business and liaising with operations and customers to ensure a smooth flow of information are also key aspects of this role. You will report to the Sea Logistics Reefer Manager
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare reefer export shipment file
- Review selling and buying rates to maximize GP
- Arrange bookings as per customers requirements
- Participate in customer meetings and QBRs
- Liaise with sales in order to understand customer needs and expectations
- Share SOP / CP within KN organization
- Customer orientation
- Develop new opportunities in conjunction with sales team
- Arranging booking of cargo with carriers, internal service providers and agents in all modes.
- Develop and implement work with overseas counterparts as may be required.
- Arrange all necessary documentation as may be necessary to meet shipment requirements.
- Assist with invoicing and job costing where applicable.
- Assist with execution to the client’s satisfaction, consistent with cost, schedule and contractual requirements.
- Promote & Sell & Insure when required insurance to customers
- Acknowledge payables in ACON
- First escalation point for reefer exports
- On-the-desk training of new staff
- Other duties as may be assigned and required
