Description:
JOB OVERVIEW:
The Seasonal Part Time Recreation Facility Monitor will be responsible for monitoring and reporting the use of and access to the following recreation facilities in Ladera Ranch: Sports Fields, Sports Courts, Terramor Water Park.
The Community of Ladera Ranch is located in South Orange County. The community is managed by Ladera Ranch Maintenance Corporation (LARMAC) which consists of over 8,000 homes. The community is spread out across 4,000 acres of landscape, parks, trails, pools, clubhouses, reservable indoor and outdoor spaces, water park, skate park, sports fields, tennis/pickleball courts and more.
Compensation: $19 - $20 an hour

- Must possess strong customer service skills and good judgment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and customer service skills.
- Must be detail oriented and able to handle multiple tasks.
- Must be able to work independently and prioritize daily workload.
- Must be able to handle deadlines and pressure of the position.
- Must be familiar with Microsoft Office.
- Must have the ability to effectively communicate with vendors, staff and clients, verbally and through written correspondence.

- Advanced interpersonal and communication skills, working collaboratively and influencing others by sharing ideas in a constructive and positive manner; able to address problems and issues constructively to find mutually acceptable and practical business solutions.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Knowledge and experience in sports and recreation is preferred.
- Completion of some college course work is preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
- Must have finger dexterity for typing/using a keyboard.

- Work is performed in a variety of environmental conditions, with exposure to outdoor temperatures at times.
- Work duties may require the ability to stand or walk on hard surfaces for frequent and prolonged periods of time.
- Must be able to respond to phone calls and emails and communicate to staff, residents, and vendors in a timely manner.
- Consistent and regular attendance required.
