Te Aho o Te Kura Pounamu (Te Kura) is New Zealand’s largest school with a roll of up to 24,000 ākonga (students) at any point of time. We are looking for a creative, innovative Kaiako (teacher) who’s an expert in English, to join our team in the Te Aka Taumatua.
It’s an exciting time at Te Kura as we continue to innovate and transform the way we provide distance learning. In our online environment, we work with the latest technologies and are constantly growing in this space.
We’re forward thinking and do things a little differently, but that doesn’t mean no student contact! You’ll interact with students at advisories, communicate with them using online tools and guide a group of students as their Learning Advisor. We are committed to seeing you grow with us and development opportunities often crop up within the school.
