SecOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive SecOps Engineer to join our Security Operations team. This role requires an in-depth knowledge of Microsoft security products, including Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Identity Protection, and Microsoft Sentinel. The ideal candidate will also have a strong understanding of network security and experience with macOS environments. They will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our security infrastructure to protect our organization against advanced threats and vulnerabilities.

• Implement, configure, and manage security solutions using Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Identity Protection, and Microsoft Sentinel.
• Monitor security systems for anomalies and potential threats, and respond to security incidents swiftly and effectively.
• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and controls in alignment with industry best practices and compliance requirements.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and conduct regular security audits to identify and mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure security integration in all aspects of technology, including network architectures and macOS environments.
• Train staff on security best practices and promote a culture of security awareness throughout the organization.
• Stay updated on the latest security trends, threats, and technologies to continually enhance the security posture.
• Automate security tasks using scripting languages to increase efficiency and response times.
