Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Liaison Engineers supporting resolution of Engineering-related non-conformities on Challengers/Globals aircrafts (Major WPs and Final Assembly Line) at St-Laurent Manufacturing Center.
  • Plan, oversee, coordinate, and prioritize activities of a team of Liaison Engineers to achieve department quality, schedule, and budget objectives.
  • Provide technical leadership to all team members to accomplish Program requirements.
  • Define individual goals and expected results for employees aligned with company objectives.
  • Ensure all Bombardier Material Review Board (MRB) requirements are met, including MRB Internal/External Audits, DAO Audits, and Partners/Suppliers MRB review.
  • Supervise preparation of formal compliance documents to fulfill requirements of Production STD Repair (PSRM).
  • Apply Bombardier Operational Excellence and other methodologies to implement and improve business processes, enhance customer satisfaction, and meet strategic goals.
  • Ensure effective management of all MRB Liaison tasks related to Structures, Mechanical Systems, and Systems Installations by closely working with other Engineering departments, internal and external customers, and Major Partners/Suppliers.
  • Work closely with the BA MRB Focal, MRB Specialists, Program Integrators, and DAO members to continuously develop skills of team members through coaching, employee training and development, ongoing assessment, and feedback with the objective to build and sustain an environment that supports cooperation, employee engagement and trust.
  • Provide visibility on the execution, issues, and escalations, as needed, to your immediate supervisor.
  • Maintain technical knowledge and awareness of developments related to Airframe/Systems structures and Mechanical Systems.
  • Support manpower planning activities and budget preparation.
