KEY RESULT AREAS/ACCOUNTABILITIES

Improving process and enhancing equipment performance
Removing bottlenecks Reducing complexity of process Coordinating with production team for technical support
Execute schemes to ensure achievement of benchmarks for consumption ratios and quality
Review systems to measure performances with trends Evaluation of proposed projects Capex Control & implementation
Reducing equipment break downs
Equipment Design Data for faster and effective monitoring of equipment. Equipment related data recording at central location Facilitate plant people for recording equipment related data with history of changes in common format.

Trouble shooting – To trouble shoot problems and formulate suitable solutions to minimize / eliminate their occurrence

• Review data for breakdown / failures / variations
• Guide respective department for action plan for CAPA & support on execution
• Coordinate with CTC, group experts for critical problem solving ideas & replication of best practices
• Implement, review performance & act for subsequent changes as appropriate
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the technical team.
• Identify opportunities for process/ maintenance optimization and efficiency.

Projects handling

• Scrutinize techno commercial feasibility analysis for the project
• To ensure proper Mechanical design & deployment
• Ensure compliance to technical specification
• Engage with material department for on time and within budget completion
• Project performance evaluation and sustaining gain
• In case of deviations consult with suppliers and ensure desired gains are achieved on continual basis
• Allocate resources for projects & take lead for derailed/delayed projects to meet time line. Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects.
• Ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Mitigate risks and resolve issues that may arise during project execution.

System Compliance

• Review SOPs on regular basis for any changes & also monitor compliance
• Compliance with safety and environment norms
• Compliance with PAT & Energy audit requirement
• Develop team to be able handle projects independently
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including clients and vendors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.

MIS reports & Cross Function communication

• Verification & Analysis of data received from different department
• Timely submission of all reports to MIS, CTC, Top Management & Corporate
• Study various MIS reports received from group units and organize composite summary
• Identify benchmark and layout action plan
• Monitor regular data bank updating
• Plays a key role for cross functional communication between Pulp & Fibre, Commercial function, Purchase function, Environment compliance, HR, CTC, Top Management & Corporate for on time communication & driving actions time to time
• Communication to Top Management on regular basis for any deviation & propose action plans to mitigate any crisis situation

QUALIFICATIONS:

Master of Chemical Engineering,Bachelor Of Engineering

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE LEVEL:

7-9 Years

Carry out techno-economic feasibility studies of improvement schemes and projects, conducting Internal System and process audits. Carry out waste elimination projects to achieve organizational goals of savings in Product and Process. Execute Quality improvement projects across the organization including developing , monitoring and review of the same.
